Two Hagens. One Life.

For the many people who love Tom and Crystal Hagen (that’s Mom & Dad), and don’t get to see them often, I wanted to create a little way to stay connected.

From time to time, I’ll share glimpses of their days—ordinary, maybe, but also not. The kinds of moments that, I hope, might help you feel a little closer to them from wherever you are.

I get to walk alongside them in a day-to-day way, on this unwelcome dementia journey. But this space won’t be about the disease. Instead, it will be about them—who they are, at their core, as they travel this road together. It feels like we have stumbled into holy ground. And it’s warm, hilarious, and wise (and challenging). And worth sharing.

There’s no schedule here. I’ll share when I can. Life doesn’t seem interested in my deadlines these days.
